It’s $21 per day, the cost to own and operate based on minimal km… and estimated on average usage it’s an astounding .94cents per km. Yes, believe it or not, it IS that much. That does not include parking, costs and lost time etc. So that commute or sightseeing jaunt just cost you a whopping $40 plus some. If you’re in a larger vehicle, camper van or similar, add a premium! Oh, we’re not even including Insurance Excess if some clown dings Your Precious.
E-Bikes have a huge set of upsides.
Cost Fuel per km… depending on your local charges, it’s around 0.5-0.7 cents per km. Yes… that is 2% of the cost of fueling your car.
Parking Costs… zilch, zero, nada. In any city, this is $30+/day
